           First impressions are lasting impressions!  This is why it is so important that you make a good first impression.  In most cases, it is your sign which most people see first.  It is your sign which most likely will drive business your way or drive it away.  This why I have made it my goal over the past 24 years to provide my customers the very best signs their money can buy.  Whether you are looking for a great sign or a custom woodcarving, I always give you the very best that I can offer.  I do this because I take great pride in my work and because of this, in turn you look great as well.  The bottom line is when you hire me to do a carving for you, you are hiring an artisan that is dedicated to providing you with a quality work of art.
          I am a professional sign carver and have been for over 24 years. I have been providing Exquisitely Hand Carved Signs, 3-Dimensional, carved, sand blasted, fabricated, and painted signs to almost everywhere in the world.
           One thing that makes my signs unique and have character is that they are laid out by hand and not generated by a computer.  My carved signs are also carved with knives and hand tools as are all my carvings.  Add to this, a great finish.  I use the highest quality (I don't use cheap or inferior products) paints, nor do I skimp on the amount of paint use.  Every carved sign is either primed and has at least 3 coats of paint or it has a minimum of 3 coats of spar varnish before it leaves my studio. 
           I carve on the highest quality woods available to me and on High Density Urethane (HDU).  My gold letters are all done with 23k gold leaf.     
          HDU has become very popular within the sign industry due to its unique properties. It comes in sheets that are 4'x8' and up to 2" thick.  Because of its closed cell design it never absorbs water which makes it resistant to rot, warp and fungus plus it carves well.  It also sandblast well and since I refuse to waste old growth redwood for making signs, that is great news.
          I am so confident of the quality of my work, that before any carving leaves my studio, I sign, number, and date every carving!  Starting in 2004 I am including the month as well as the year which the carving was done.

Send a sketch with dimensions or your layout for a price quote. To have an illustration or logo added to your sign, please enclose photos and/or drawings.
