First of all, my signs and custom woodcarvings are not done in a large commercial sign shop or by computers. They are all done by myself in my workshop studio. Even though I am not a large operation, I turn do out a lot of signs and carvings each year and I stand behind my work because I know just how they are made. I know the quality of the products I use and the quality of the work that goes into every commission I do. Each one of my carved signs and wood carvings are signed,numbered, and dated. I also always do the very best that I can.
I have been providing carvings and carved signs since 1976 and I am proud of every piece that I have created and I am sure that you will be also.
All my carved signs are either painted, varnished or oiled with multi coats to provide years of service in the most harsh conditions Mother Nature can dish out thus assuring you piece of mine about your investment. Read more about how I finish my signs.
As a rule, unless otherwise specified, I use High Density Urethane (HDU) on my painted signs and Sugar Pine on my naturally finished signs. I have been doing this for a number of years now for a few reasons. The main being that HDU stands up to the elements better then wood and it has become harder to get the quality of wood that I was able to get in the past. Read more about HDU.
